Simba Studios Designed To Grow Young Talent

Fred Farai Nyakudanga FFF Simba Studios in Westgate, Old Mazoe Road has laid solid it’s plans to raise the upcoming musicians in need of a stable to grow their talents.   Simba Studios is equipped with latest technology in live recording therefore it is an equal alternative. The management's move to counterbalance difficulties young and aspiring musicians are facing is noticable by the whirlwind movement of upcoming musicians in Zimbabwe.   Some established studios and promoters give attention to popular musicians whom they regard bankable.   Budding musicians are left with no choice but to engage fly by night studios who are cheap. A lot of these back door studios are not professional and they also lack appropriate knowledge and equipment. The creativity of upcoming musicians then becomes compromised. The music is hurriedly released without due polishing, the mistakes are passed on to the market. Music is a business and it is highly competitive, the first cut is the

Archie Madzogo’s Music Targets The World's Hearts

The world's developments in technology, beliefs and culture seem to be pushing chaos more than benefits. Information and Communication Technology ICT has brought a fair share of benefits and adverse effects to the world’s societies. Information is now readily available at anyone’s finger tips through the World Wide Web or internet.   Cultural exchange and dissemination is now very easy. Fashion trends, entertainment, news, products are now easily detected on internet and the impact is both detrimental and convenient depending on individual coaching. Cultural degradation, drug abuse, cyber crimes, pornography and human trafficking are most prevalent crimes affecting societies. Solutions to this seem remote.   Archie Madzogo is inspired to use his music to change the negative impact of technology and globalisation on world societies. Since 2010 Archie Madzogo has been writing songs. He reiterate that some of his music come through dreams. While he is asleep the lyrics a

Fiona Chinembiri Not Deterred By The Unconventional Music Industry

Written by Fred Farai Nyakudanga FFF Bribery seems a normal requirement for recognition in the music sector, its how much money you pay that matter irrespective of how much you are talented or not. The value chain seems to have also succumbed to economic challenges, investment in the music sector is now very low since the departure of Gramma Records. Under such detrimental circumstances Fiona Chinembiri still finds reason to produce music. The fact that she sings gospel music compounds her situation, her values encourage her to stay away from immoral elevation. Fiona has recently dropped a faith reassurance single Uchabereka . The name says it all, hold on do not give up. Though the song is directed to Zimbabwean audiences, it speaks to the singer too equally it does to anyone. Fiona started professional singing in 2002 when she released Dzokai Kunashe under Gospel Train, a follow up album Isai Pa Calvary was released in 2004 under the famous Gramma Records.  Fiona Chinembiri admitt
